Turo complete policy

https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990610-Protection-plans-including-insurance-US-guests However, Turo is very difficult to get reimbursement. They rely heavily on guest and host working together to pay for any damage.

if you are in a minor accident I would not contact Turo if I were you. They charge you for every little thing and then try and exclude you from coverage. Not to mention their customer service is very difficult to get any kind of resolution.

it is best to know your own coverage which most insurance if you have it covers you driving another vehicle that is not your own.

secondly if you don’t have AAA get it. It will save you $800.00 if you need a tow or lock the key in the car.

thirdly, call me right away before Turo they will smack you with fees that far exceed the problem. I will help you call me.

the bottom line is Turo insurance may not cover you as you think. Their customer service is difficult and frustrating and they aren’t set up to make it easy on you. If you have AAA and your own car insurance you are probably covered.

we can work together to resolve any mishap. I’m here to help you so please call me first. If you report to Turo first you may find it’s going to cost you a whole lot more.

it’s not their fault they are not set up to handle claims. Those are best handled with your personal insurance companies.

im not saying don’t get coverage however you may already be covered and it’s worth checking into. It’s an easy call to your insurance agent.
